Materials:
Weights
Spring + Pulley
Block


Aim: To find out the minimum  amount of force (load) needed to overcome the inertia of the block.


Steps:
  1. Attach the spring to the block. 
  2. Place the block on the table and place the spring with the pulley.
  3. Attach the weight to the other end of the spring. Start with 1 kg.
  4. Repeat Step 3 and increase the weight by 5g/10g in succession until the block is just able to moves.
  5. Count the number of weights and record it down.
  6. Repeat the experiment 3 times to make sure the results are reliable.
  7. Take the average number of weights (???) based on the results.
  8. Well Done! You have just successfully complete the experiment.
